Introduction of and familiarity with the product:

Azmooneh technology unit  backed and supported by the Technology Park of tarbiatmodaress university, in a research program, has come up with a different form of paper pH meters called Hydria . The superior quality and performance of the paper is designed in order to meet the consumer’s expectations.

Low price compared with the in comparison with the European products means the consumers spends less money.

 In order to increase the resolution as much as 0.5 units of pH, color bands on each
Strip have been increased to 10 bands (the European equivalent has  8 bands).

 For the extension of the measurement range a simple or a combined indicators of different grades used so that the change of the color of the pH of highly acidic and highly alkaline is clearly detectable.

With this  pH meters, amounts higher than 14 and  lower than zero (which is not defined in traditional chemistry but  chemists few years have defined it ) are visible.

     All chemical indicators used in the production are absolutely pure product
Laboratory (A.R) so any adverse changes or contamination is non existence.

To reduce the influence of adjacent-band and color mixing (due to the alkaline effect on the solubility of alkaline cellulosic materials), Strips are made of absorbent paper  with sufficient physical strength.

     Another point considered in making this product is the easy application of the acidic solutions. The color bands on the strips related to the acidic pH are placed at the bottom while the colors related to the alkaline pH are placed at the top of the strip.

 Thus if we know the solution is acidic and wish to know the pH number it is enough to immerse the strip till four or fifth band into the solution .However if we do not have any knowledge of the reaction of the solution the strip must be immersed into the solution completely
